  1. Good for you! UFO is for UnFinished Objects.
  2. Thanks, Jim! I'm going to print your description and study it. If I still can't get the picture, well, I'm married to a mechanical engineer, and I bet he'll be able to do it.
  3. Jim, could you please post a picture of your set up? My powers of visualization are not up to the task. Thanks!
  4. I also have a 12' table and have quilted king-sized quilts on it. Even though I mostly do smaller quilts, I wouldn't want a smaller table.
  5. Great job finding the problem! Thanks for posting the result so others can learn, too.
  6. Braggie, if you are on Facebook, there is a closed QP users group with a lot of knowledgeable people in it. Join the We Love APQS group, then do a post asking for an invitation to the QP users group. One of the admins will see it and help you join. You are likely to get faster answers there than here.
  7. Dana Jo, I don't think it's really worth capitalizing a purchase under $1,000. A collection of pantographs can add up, but on a per item basis, the cost is not much. I am a retired CPA, and would not want to mess with piddly depreciation on items like that. Obviously, you have to go with what's comfortable for you, and whatever your corporate return preparer recommends. Good luck with your business!
  8. Sorry, Kathy, I don't have any other suggestions for you, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will be able to help.
  9. Have you made sure you removed all the broken needle pieces? Will the machine move without a needle in it?
  10. Have you confirmed that your needle is all the way in, and that it is not in backward?
  11. SueD, thanks for sharing a great assortment of options!
  12. Have you considered zippers? Pinning, Red Snappers/Leader Grips, and zippers are the only loading systems with which I am familiar. I also thought floating required pinning, but maybe that's not correct.
  13. As SueD suggested, your ad does need to include more information. Any interested buyer will want to know the age of the machine, as well as the other information Sue recommended.
  14. Verbob, more information would help you to get an answer: what kind of machine do you have, what computer program are you using, etc.. Good luck.
  15. Try posting on missingfabrics.com. A picture would also help. Good luck!
  16. DianaMaria, are you a member of the QuiltPath Facebook group? You may get an answer sooner there. Sorry not to have an answer for you. Good luck.
  17. Apparent spam reported.
  18. I did not receive the e-mail, but there was talk about it on the We Love APQS Facebook group. Apparently, APQS contracted with a professional survey company to get information from customers. Several dealers were aware of the survey, but they did not seem to be aware of the $10 Amazon gift card.
  19. Susie, this must be very frustrating for you. With Thanksgiving this week, your retailer and APQS may not be working their usual hours. I hope next week brings you some helpful responses.
  20. Are you on a carpeted floor or hard surface? I had my Freedom on a carpeted second floor with no issues. I'm guessing you have checked your frame to make sure it is square and level.
  21. LyricMullen's spam post reported.
