  1. Purchased in April of 2013. Works great, just upgrading! In the 5 years since I've had the machine, I've quilted 37+ million stitches, mostly custom. For examples of work done on the machine, see my website: www.TheGirlWhoQuilts.com. and my InstaGram feed (TheGirlWhoQuilts). I've used a wide variety of threads on the machine - currently quilting with mostly Aurifil. Machine has had regular cleaning and maintenance. It was last cleaned and serviced at the beginning of 2018. Located in Pittsburgh, PA. If buyer is in the Pittsburgh area, or the Chicago or Peoria, IL areas, I will provide 2 days of free training! Includes: ruler base 2 rulers 62 bobbins 34 partial cones of thread - all work well with the machine, as I used them in the past! 2 books plus instruction manual and video 1 channel lock pack of bobbin genies 2 pantos: Barcode and Drift laser for panto quilting front and back handles bobbin winder and all original tools We can disassemble, buyer is responsible for picking up from my home studio. 9. FOUND! Thanks all. I am looking for a HQ Avante with or without a pro-stitcher. I am in PA but willing to travel for the right machine at the right price. I can get a new one fairly close to home for 9K without pro stitcher. So for me to travel must be worth my while. Thanks!
  10. I am selling my Handi Quilter Avante with Studio Frame, bobbin winder, rolling saddle stool, ruler base, micro handles, rulers, pantographs, pantograph grid cover, extra bobbin case, bobbins, Towa bobbin tension gauge, Superior So Fine thread and other extras. Asking $7500. I purchased the machine 5 years ago this month from Red Hen Fabrics in Marietta, GA. It was thoroughly serviced by a certified HQ technician on 3/4/16 (last week). He lubricated the interior of the machine, optimized the timing, and upgraded to Precision Glide tracks and wheels. I am located in Canton, GA, about 40 minutes north/northwest of downtown Atlanta. Please email frecklemama at yahoo dot com for photos or more info. Thanks!
  11. HandiQuilter Sixteen Sit-down for sale in Central Texas. My HandiQuilter is the traditional sixteen sit-down machine that preceded the Sweet Sixteen. It was manufactured in 2010. It does not have a stitch regulator or the ability to add a stitch regulator. It's very easy to use and I don't need a stitch regulator to make pretty stitches. I think the Tru-Stitch that was made for the Sweet Sixteen is cumbersome to use, so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. If you want to purchase a frame, this can also be used as a stand-up machine. It comes with the table and overlay, lots of bobbins and needles, the HandiQuilter VersaTool, the line-tamer ruler, gloves and two feet (open toe and closed toe). It also has a separate electric bobbin winder. I'm asking $2,950 OBO for it. I would prefer to sell it to someone in the central Texas area but have the boxes to ship it. The buyer will pay for shipping and insurance. I would need to wait until payment clears before shipping, so no funny stuff! Feel free to call me with questions, 512-560-9402. Tmontgo at swbell.net
