  7. I have a 2010 Millennium with a IQ that I add in 2015 for sale. It has 14 foot table with Bliss and auto advance. I have zippers attached at the moment but you can remove if you would like to use something else. I broke my shoulder 18 months ago and it has not healed to the point where I can quilt like I used to so I would like to sell it to someone who can enjoy it like I once did. I am asking $18,000 for the complete set. The machine has not been used much in the 7 years that I have had it and the IQ is the top of the line with updates available for the life of the machine. I have added a few patterns to the ones that came on the IQ when I bought it new. You would need to make arrangements to pick up the machine in Paducah, KY if you decided to purchase. Contact me at mscott2611@comcast.net with any questions By the way if you know someone who is in town for the APQS quilt show this week maybe you could talk them into picking it up for you or arranging shipping for you if you were interested in purchasing this machine. Also, I forgot to put in the above post that it includes a saddle stool, drawer full of thread, fil-tec magnetic bobbins, self winding bobbin stand alone, has the L size bobbin.

  17. Im being totally positive that my customers will grow past 4. My website is quiltingforyou.us. I am seriously thinking about rebuilding a new website, and Im talking it up at my quilt guild this weekend. Just got my Lucey last week, and already she is a awesome quilting machine and she is ready to work. I'm not new at longarming. Thought it would take longer to get used to Lucey, but she is wonderful. Any ideas or tips would be useful. I am quilting quilts for Quilts of Valor, and charity quilts for my guild.
  18. I've been watching some YouTube videos recently about the various ways to attach binding to a quilt using the longarm. I've been quilting on a longarm for several years and have never tried this before so I wanted to ask a couple questions to those of you that have done this either for your own quilts or for customers. 1. What technique do you use to attach binding with your longarm? Do you use a ruler or stitch straight reference lines to align the binding or some other technique? 2. Are there quilts you won't use the longarm to stitch the binding on? Lot's of points along the edges? Very uneven borders? Competition or heirloom quilts? 3. Any "gotchas" to watch out for? I'm always open to learning and trying something new so any and all comments would be greatly appreciated! Cathy APQS Freedom & IQ
  19. I am moving to a smaller home so I must sell my APQS Discovery Quilting machine. It is a great working, smaller longarm (same body as UII 20" throat) not a midarm. It includes machine, wood and metal table, supplies, patterns, batting, thread, and Circle Lord system with templates aND full sized queen boards. I would like $3,900 or BO for everything. I ran a Quilting business for a short time so it has all kinds of supplies to start a business or just your own quilting. There are about $2,000 in Circle Lord supplies alone. The Discovery is similar to the Lenni or Liberty by APQS but no Stitch regulator. I have done very well with out one. It easily handles different types of threads and still have beautiful stitches. It has all the other gizmos like needle up down, one stitch, laser light, and it is very light weight (37 lbs?). Being so light, it makes free motion quilting a breeze. I will provide a couple of hours in lessons for free and help set up if bought within 60 miles. I can also provide additional lessons if needed at an additional cost. I live in South Portland Maine about 45 minutes north of Portsmouth NH. It needs to be picked up. Give me an email or text me 207.766.6800 I have it listed under craigslist maine also.
