Kate Miller
Hi all - A while back, I put up a note here about my like-new Consew 1709Q with 10' frame for sale. I'm in Providence, RI, and I bought the machine for my startup business. I only used it a couple of times -- it's in perfect condition! It's for sale on Ebay here: http://tinyurl.com/consewforsale And click here to download Consew's spec sheet: http://tinyurl.com/consewspecs I've reduced the price to $5,000, with a starting bid of just $4,000. I'm very motivated to sell! If anybody wants to arrange a sale directly (not through Ebay), just let me know, we can definitely work that out. 100+ people took a look at my last listing on APQS forum. If you're looking at this now, please leave a comment! I'd love help on how to sell this machine. Any advice on where to post about it? Advice on my Ebay listing? Is the picture ok? Thoughts? Thanks so much!
Kate Miller
Anybody care to comment? Would love to hear from you, whether you're interested in this machine or not. If this listing isn't of interest, it would be really helpful to hear why. Is it my location in the northeast? Is it an unpopular machine model? Thanks. ffq-lar
Hi Kate, I think you are getting little interest here because you are posting on a site where people either have a longarm already or are coveting an APQS machine. If you haven't already, post your machine on the Longarm University site or other sites where multiple brands of machines are posted. Good luck. Your presentation and links above are very helpful and maybe someone here knows a potential buyer for you but have not replied.
Kate Miller
Thank you so much, Linda! I really appreciate the feedback, and will post on Longarm University asap. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Kate
theladyquilter12
Hi Kate, Another site for selling used longarms is House of Hanson. Check it out. Jeff is a great help! I have my machine listed here and there and at Longarm University. Someone told me I should list it on Craigslist but I haven't done that yet. I am motivated to sell also! JB.13
Hey Kate, I saw this post as well as your blog post on Wired. I am hoping you got rid of it by now. However, if you're still stuck with it, I would consider taking it off your hands. I am a student who recently took up quilting. Let me know! Best Regards, Jodi
Chelseamdw
Kate! This seems crazy but I just read your post on wired. I laughed and then I wondered if you still have this beast!? I'm in New England and in the market and well, can't hurt to ask!
