Carathren
I currently own a Liberty that is over 7 years old in perfect condition. Does APQs take trade ins for higher model, i.e. Freedom or Millenium? Does APQS for any deals in that regard?
ffq-lar
Contact you closest Rep for details, but I think many upgraders have found that selling their set-up themselves will get them more cash than trading it in. Libertys are sweet machines, though with a smaller throat space, and lots of owners wouldn't part with theirs. Email Amy and ask what the policy is and how much you could expect as a trade-in. Katydids
They will for do a trade in on the head only. If you go to a larger throated machine, ie. Freedom or Millie, you will need to also get new legs for the table so that the rollers are spaced appropriately for the larger machine. Your carriage, table rails and rollers will work. Unless, of course you are wanting to upgrade to Bliss, As Linda said, you will usually be better off selling your system and buying new. But it doesn't hurt to get the numbers. Call Mark or Tony at the showroom, since you are right there in Des Moines.
Darlene Epp
Hi Carrie, If your table is the older style square tubing metal, then it is adjustable on the ends and you could upgrade to just a larger machine head, like the Lucey, Freedom or Millennium. If you want to add Bliss etc., then you're better off advertising it locally and trying to sell it that way. Buyers often like to know that the former owner is available for questions and a bit of backup support. I had a Liberty when they first came out, and loved it!
