lkl
It's been a month or more since I have been on the Fil-Tec Bobbin Central website. Much to my delight (pun intended), I discovered the new and improved site. It is very nicely designed. Love their thread too! http://www.bobbincentral.com Leslie
Sheri Butler
They must have been working on it the other day, cuz I couldn't log in...or get pricing to come up. Glad to see it's up and running!!!
GrandmaLKB
I like how they show the cones of thread to better to see the colors. Those little colored circles didn't work very well.
delores62305
I use Fil-Tec for my Melco embroidery machine bobbins. I love the magna-glide. I have never had a tension problem with these bobbins AND I use all the bobbin thread. The only time I get an bobbin error is when it runs out and I have to replace it. Having said that, I have no clue about what type of bobbins to use in the Lucey. What is the best bobbin thread (the original or the Trilobal)? I don't know the difference of the two, but would really like to stay with the magnetic core. Also, what is the best brand of thread to use? I have a ton of embroidery thread (rayon and polyester). I plan on starting out playing with the machine with what I have until I use up my thread stash, but after that, I didn't know which brand worked the best in the Lucey. As always, I appreciate any help and comments.
lkl
Delores I used Magna-Glide Delights and Magna-soft prewound bobbins by Fil-Tec. I also wind my own bobbins using Superior Threads So Fine 50 (50 wt.) and Bottom Line (60 wt.) threads as well as Aurifil cotton thread (50 wt).
