Tamarack
Over the last month every once in awhile my Millennium will just stop stitching. At first I thought I touched a button but once it started happening more I realized it wasn't me. I checked the power cord and it is fine and the power is still on when the machine stops. I am wondering if this is a grounding issue or a fuse issue. It is happening a few times a day now so becoming a problem. Any help on what to check would be greatly appreciated! Beachside Quilter
Kathy: Do you have Bliss, and if so, do you have the grounding wire (for models older than 2013)? Email or call Service and they can help you diagnose.
ffq-lar
Also, check your motor brushes for wear.
Tamarack
Yes Vickie I have Bliss but don't recall a grounding wire....will look into that. Linda I changed my motor brushes last year so they should still be good!
Beachside Quilter
Kathy: Go ahead and call Service. The first Bliss carriages weren't sent with the extra grounding wire. It's an easy fix; Service can help you and also determine if this is the problem or help diagnose with you. Good luck!
CindyT
Kathy, that's exactly what happened to me when I didn't get the grounding wire initially with my Bliss. They happily sent me one and after installing it, it resolved the problem. I hope this will take care of yours, too.

mcthirl
Hi All. what does the grounding wire look like? Not sure if I have one, only just installed Bliss on my 2010 Millie. thenks Maria
juliagraves
what year Millie do you have? My 2004 Millie would have loose connections and this would happen and I would squeeze the connectors together. I also twist-tied the connectors to keep them tighter. I've since traded up to a new machine.
RunningThreads
Maria The one we have on our machine goes from the bottom screw on the right side of the rear cover to the left rear bolt that secures the axle to the carriage. There is also a clip that is installed under the head axle screw closest to the encoder. Email Amy she should be able to send you pictures.
