HeyJude
I'm new to this site but am finding it frustrating that I read all the way though the different posts, only to find out it sold a year ago. Is there anyone that serves as an administrator that can somehow sort the sold from the unsold? I would think for someone trying to sell, or someone trying to buy this would speed up the process. Help??
Zora
It is my understanding that it is up to the person doing the listing to amend their listing to indicate when an item is sold. The for sale section is a courtesy to the users and would be a headache for an administrator to monitor. This forum is a valuable resource, and users should respect the site and monitor their own listings. Because many people don't do that, only the recent listings should be considered active. Good deals also sell quickly, so while I am reading, somebody else may be firming up an offer or receiving an acceptance.
yankiequilter
I agree with Lynn's response. Some of the people who have posted machines for sale may have been on the forum only to sell the machine and have moved on once it is sold. If you are looking for a used longarm you might make a posting with info describing what you are interested in. That may result in responses from those with a machine for sale. pumpkinpatchquilter
Lots of time people will put "sold" in the title or at the top of the post when it goes...I do try to peek at the date of the post before I get too excited as things go quickly around here.
