LibbyG
A long time quilting friend, made this quilt about six years ago and marked it for handquilting. Now that she's in her eighties, she realized it wasn't going to get done, so she asked me to quilt it. I followed her pencil lines for the border and around the basket, but the dresden plate design she used would have required a lot of stops and starts, so I did my own. I've wanted to try this filler design for a long time now, so this was the perfect quilt for it. In fact, I like it much better than the one I did on my quilt two years ago. I used So Fine on the top and BL, and some kind of polyester batting she had from years ago. https://www.flickr.com/photos/libbygquilts/
