Ann Wight
Just took this off the frame tonight. My sister-in-law made it for her grandson for HS graduation. Black So Fine thread, Hobbs 80/20 batting. All ruler work. Yes that yellow is neon bright! I usually don't like black thread on lighter fabrics, but after I ditched the the border and the sashing I thought it looked like I could get away with the black thread in the blocks. Most of the quilting is in the darker fabrics, but I'm pleased with the overall effect. Glad I didn't change to grey and yellow threads.

Ann Wight
that is striking! He will love it! Did you pre-mark the border or just start with the half circles and then keep adding on? Thanks for sharing! Thank. No, I don't mark this at all, I just use Deloa's Boomerang arc ruler and pick a random spot and stitch 7-8 arcs and then rotate the ruler to another random angle and make another group. I love the informal look of this and usually make the arcs about an inch apart. It goes very quickly.
