SusieQ(uilting)
Hello all, I have just purchased some red snappers for my 2013 Millie, and remember seeing "somewhere" a Youtube instruction video about making the casings with a long arm, on the canvas leaders. It looked simple, but because I did not save the site, it is now difficult without help. Any ideas and/or instructions to follow? All help/hints are welcome. Thanks to all. Busy Quilting
Set up your featherweight machine on your ironing board under the leader and "schooch" the machine and board along you stitch. As regards to how much to turn under etc. Renee has that in the instructions with them unless yours are 2nd hand.

IQuiltToo
The link did not work. Go to Renae Haddadin's web site. quilts on the corner Search Red Snappers. There is a video there.

Marti10245
I really like my red snappers. The video shows you exactly how to use them. It is really easy. have fun
LindaSteller
I already had my zippers on my machine, so instead of re-inventing the wheel, I just made small leaders that are the width of my existing leaders (144") and about a foot long. I sewed the quilt zipper to one side and made the tube for the new thing (I have leader grips instead of red snappers, but same thing), on the other. Zipped it on to the machine, and there they have stayed ever since. Probably the easiest way to do it.
