I live in Montreal, Canada and I'm going to New York on the weekend of the 4th of July. I will follow the 87s from Champlain, NY to New York City. I have been thinking of getting a long/midarm for quite a time but it`s very hard to find one in my area (quilting is not a popular hobby). Few people are willing to ship anything that big, so my trip to New York could be a nice opportunity to get one on my way. I have a very modest budget (3500$ or under). I also have a Juki 98, so I would consider also buying a good frame that could work with it as a beginner setting and allow me to upgrade later. The frame would have to be dissasembled an ready to put in my car, the luggage area is open and can take up to a 4 1/2 feet long piece. I would pick it up on Monday 7th July in day time on my way back home. I will not be traveling alone so I don't want to drive more than 20-30 minutes from the 87S.
