I am getting the Millie do I need to pay for installation?

The $500 installation fee gives you the freedom to sit back and watch as your local APQS Rep sets up your machine.  However, the setup instructions are very easy - even a husband who is "only fair" at putting things together should be able to do it.  Although the setup for the Hydraulic Lift is a little bit more involved.... If you do the setup yourselves, you will find yourself less intimidated by the machine as a whole, since you watched it grow, nut by bolt.  If you choose to do it yourself, do it at a time when you can phone APQS Service with any questions you run into, or when you can phone your local APQS Rep for advice.  It's what I tell my customers to do.

For my 2 cents worth - I received my Millie last fall (in Luxembourg/Europe) and had no choice other than to put it together myself/with my husband. No Problem - the instructions are good, you just have to take your time and go "step-by-step". It took us about 4 hours, but referring to Barb's comments, it is an excellent way to become familiar with the machine and all the extras. Read the instructions first so you are familiar with the names and terms used, and I'm sure you will be up and running before you know it! Good luck and let the forum know when you are read y to roll!

If you can afford the extra money, then do it. It will be done right, the machine will be level and all you have to do is learn to use it. But, watch and take notes in case you ever have to take it down and move it. My daughter and grandson set mine up and it was easy for them, It would have been hard for me.

I bought at a road show and got free set up.  It was great!  But now we are thinking about moving.  I hope I can read the instructions BACKWARDS to take it apart and move it.  It would probably had been easier if I put it together in the first place.  I like the idea of doing it when you can call APQS if you get stuck.  Good advise.

Quiltedsunflower, don't hesitate to call for help, either APQS Service or one of our Reps.  I've set up and taken down so many tables (installs & shows) that I can do it in my head, so call me if you have any questions!!
