T Row Studio
I organized a mystery quilt for my local guild over the last 5 months everybody got the last clue last month and were asked to bring their tops to the meeting on Wed. look forward to seeing them. I finished mine, the turquoise one, as well another member brought here top to me to quilt. I did totally different quilting on the two quilts both a custom job. It was so interesting to work on both quilts one more feminine than the other look for yourself and thanks for looking Here are two more mystery quilts that were revealed last night yes there is one white square in the gold brown quilt she is giving this as a gift and is going to put an inspirational saying in this square. The other one I was so proud of , the young quilter wanted to use only from her small stash and I think she knocked it out of the park.
Neher-in-law5
Wow, what two different looks these make. It will be interesting to see the others. I had a hard time seeing the two separate blocks in the turquoise one and they jumped out at me in the pink/green. I wonder if it is the hue and color placement differences or if the quilting draws my eye more in the turquoise. They are pretty and you did great work. Lemon Tree Tami
Wow, I really like the turquoise/brown variation. But it's interesting to see how the pink/green one has the one block that just pops out at you. It doesn't read as one allover piecing pattern. You must have had such fun with the mystery quilt. Can't wait to see how they all turn out.
T Row Studio
This quilt was suppose to be a three color pattern with a light ,medium, and dark value the pattern should form circles if the values are in the right place. The pink and green one she used light pink, light green and a cream when she started to put it together it was flat so she added the dark pink and dark green which created a lot of interest in the Star blocks almost making them sparkle. Then she wanted me to quilt the circle design where it was suppost to be...She was pleased with the Quilting
