Bernina2
I am new to this forum. I live in Villa Ridge, Mo. and looking for a longarm quilter. My longarm quilter I had used for the past 8 years is retiring after 14 years. We are in a rural area and was surprised when I was unable to find another LAQ. I'm hoping to find someone local that does custom quilting. I make embroidered quilts that need the custom quilting. Thanks, and I hope to meet some new quilting friends. LindaSteller
There are lots of quilters who take quilts by mail. You might consider that if you can't find someone locally.
ffq-lar
Check with your closest quilt shop for some recommendations. Ask your friends who they use. Start looking at quilters blogs and when you find someone whose work you love, contact them. If you're isolated, do as Linda suggests above and send your quilt out of town. I bet you'll be able to start a great collaboration with someone.

Louis, but it is 3.5 hours for us. I would be happy to meet you in Cape G, which is about halfway for both of us. Let me know if I can help you out.
