Bliss Quilter Posted September 26, 2014 Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 Miss Millie will arrive next week via Dave Jones (Thanks Dave). I am so excited I can hardly focus on my DAY job. Deloa & Dave Jones had a deal on Miss MIllie I could not resist. It all started when I though I was going to be laid off from my day job and thought I would start retirement early. Deloa & Dave Jones sold FUNNY FACE (My Nolting) and will pick her up to go to a loving home in Iowa when Dave delivers Miss Millie. I had a talk with FF and she promised she would love her NEW MOTHER and called me a trader . Well I made the cut and will not be laid off (darn it) . Now I have to really show Miss Millie a lot of extra attention at night and weekends. I had to make room in our living room and I have placed extra furniture where Miss Millie will be living to get the feel (Pictures next week). I have been working on my website (still in the works) and some marketing so when Miss Millie arrives I can give her all of my attention. When I have all up an going PROFESSIONALLY I will let everyone know. I have the preliminary up, I am eager to listen your suggestions, send me an email. Please do not post them here. I want to thank all who have posted here for the last 4 years, I have learned so much from you all. That is why I purchased Miss Millie and Bliss Quilter is here. Bliss Quilter Posted October 2, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2014 Miss Millie has arrived and her new home is a portion of the living room. My Gosh, I am in love again . I loved Funny Face, but larger table will be so nice and ole so easy and smooth. It is because of the lights (everyone should have these, they are wonderful) and I have casters, which I think I will take off because they make her sit way too high. I have a picture attached. I will do some befores and after locations pictures this weekend. https://www.flickr.com/photos/127344460@N04/15229890037/ Dave Jones worked so hard all day yesterday breaking down "Funny Face" and putting Miss Millie together. THANKS DAVE!!! It was a long day for both of us . My DH said she is bigger than I thought . He said he would rather a new truck. I said she has wheels and I can drive her as long and fast I want and not get a TICKET(which he recently received a few weeks ago $255 worth, 1st in 25 year). I have driven her around the block some to make sure she sews well and she does. Now I am getting ready to load a real quilt, pictures soon.
