JeanRae
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you may be hard pressed to get anything out of this system. KenQuilt is no longer in business, a downside for many, and if the table is missing one or more of the poles, they could be impossible to replace, making the whole frame useless. Putting a short arm like the KQ622 on a new frame, if a compatible one can be found, would be more expensive than it was worth, at least to most people wanting to get a quilting machine. I have the slightly bigger KQ633 and love it but they are very basic machines and wouldn't appeal to many. Personally, I'm saving to upgrade to an APQS and hope I can swing it soon. I've already promised to sell my system, complete and working perfectly, to a friend for $1500. I don't know how much this helps, but that's what I know, plus a bonus gift of my honest opinion thrown in at no charge. Good luck to you! ffq-lar
If the pole is a generic size and it proves to be economical, have a local welder or machine shop look at another pole on the system to see if one can be fabricated. I don't know if it would be worth it. What is the diameter of the pole and is it conduit (aluminum) or steel?
