K. Szymaszek
Yes, it is mine. i cant believe i did it. I put my bobbin case into place. Checked it again for some reason. Went on quilting, thankfully slowly. Clang, clang, clang, thread break. Oh my gosh!, the bobbin was not notched in!. I cant believe it, all is fine. God is good, helped me dodge that bullet. Whew. Bonnie H
Glad you dodged that bullet! The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago and the bobbin case got stuck in the race, this when I was working against a deadline. That figures! Luckily, my dealer was near the phone when I called panicking and it was a two second fix.

jimerickson
I think it's probably happened to all of us. It's difficult to see the hook, what with the table and the quilt sandwich in the way. It happens to me with some frequency. (3 - 4 times a year) Jim

Busy Quilting
Or as a very newbie many moons ago, holding onto the little hinge like you would in a Singer machine does not work on a longarm!
CWBowser
I am glad that it turned out okay.
pumpkinpatchquilter
I have done that too! I have broken more needles, run over more rulers, and banged into more bobbin cases with my long arm than any of my 20+ sewing machines. LOL! There is a LOT happening when you are long arm quilting - your attention has to be in so many places at once. So glad it's all ok!
maggienoella
I've put it in wrong and not had it in at all. You'd have quite a contest here for the Oaf Award I think from what I'm reading. LOL Joan
