This is what I am dealing with today

Wow, wish I could say I've never seen one of those, but seems like I get them all too often.  I usually call the customer and tell her that there will either be ripples or tucks in her borders because they don't lie flat on the frame.  Then I quilt the tar out of them.  For some reason I always try to tell myself "I can quilt that out".  Sometimes it just doesn't work.  Good luck!  I'm crying with you.

Well, I finished the bad borders quilt and thought I would post a couple of photos for you to see. Of course there was no way for ME to quilt out, I just don't have enough experience yet. I did my best. She wanted everything to do with fish so I pressed and starched and used a very dense fish panto in that border. Here are a couple of photos.
