K. Szymaszek
Here is a recent finish. I had tried to chaulk and free hand the woven area, but quickly decided it needed to be better than I could do. I started looking for a wave template, then remembered Linda Rech mentioned that her DH Dennis could make up templates. They were both great. Dennis made me up a sample, then his laser went out. He then sent me that one so I could finish my project. When I got my template, it had my name on it. So cool. Thanks to both. Thanks also to those who gave me suggestions for the quilting. This quilt has QD Request supplied by customer with 1/2 thickness od QD Wool and So-Fine thread. Thanks for looking, K

RitaR
I keep going back to view this quilt again and again. The woven center is what is driving me nuts.. and I love the center, just cant figure out how it was pieced, or is it a print? Love the ruler work, in fact the whole quilt. Congrats on a fantastic job. Den always comes through.. He's special

K. Szymaszek
Hi Rita, The center is a panel. I treated it as if it were pieced and stitched all the weaves in the imaginary ditch, so to speak. Carol, my freehand wavy lines weren't cutting it either, that's why i had to go to plan B. Thank you all for your kindness, I really appreciate it. K
