jennlefore
I need to downsize so I'm listing my Ultimate I on a metal 14ft frame. It was purchased in 1994 and I'm the 3rd owner. I sent her in for her spa day October, 2013. She runs great and I've had no problems with her. She comes with needle up/down button, thread cutter and variable speed. Also included is the Hartley fence, an extended base, bobbin winder, new cloth leaders, extension bars to lift the roll off the frame, laser pointer, and mondo clips (like red snappers). I'm asking $3000 - a fair price according to Amy at APQS. You may call me at 972-979-2907 to come try it out.

loraquilts
Hi - I'm confused about the way the rollers are set up. I don't see a leveler bar in your set up. Are you using one that I just don't see? If not, how do you keep your quilt level as it fills to the take-up roller? Do you have a way of adjusting the take-up roller? Also, I noticed that it appears you have taken off the roller for the quilt top and placed it under the machine bed rails. Is that right? If so, I presume that you float all your quilt tops? If not, is there a break system for the roller where it is placed now? BTW - I have an Ultimate I and LOVE IT!!! These are great running work horse machines. Amy at APQS told me that it has all the functionality of the Millie, just a few less bells and whistles. I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling your machine especially at such a great price. Good luck.
zeke
Yes, they're most likely floating the top. That's also an older wooden table that was before the leveling bar. There is an adjustment on both sides of the table that controls the take up bars height. Zeke.....
loraquilts
Thanks Zeke, You are always such a wealth of knowledge. Now I know where to go when I have more stupid questions. ; )
jennlefore
Sorry I haven't responded. My email doesn't always show me notifications. I do float my tops - I have honestly only worked on baby quilts and have only done a few at that. I love this machine, she works great. I just haven't used her that much. kalicocreations
Hi Is this machine still for sale? I have a friend who is interested. Thanks!
jimerickson
Kalico: It probably is. Why don't you send Jennlefore A personal message to make sure she sees your interest. She hasn't posted much so she might not check the forum often. You can go to the members section and there is an easy way to send her an alert.
