chickenscratch
Will my Lenni fit on any other table than the one it came with? I can't afford Bliss, can't find the metal to replace the rails, and don't have $500 for a new carriage and edgerider wheels?
Beachside Quilter
Check with Mark at APQS; an older Ult 11 table might work. Good luck, Teresa!
chickenscratch
Mark, do you have any ideas? We can't find that L shaped steel anywhere around here. Jim and Nigel feel that it is my wheels as much as my table, but there aren't any replacement wheels available for Lenni.
mark
Teresa, You could also look to see if you can find a 2" aluminum angle, that would be just like the steel angle that you have now for the table frame that the wheels ride on. Otherwise you could see if anyone has an U-II wooden frame that they want to part with as your vertical wheels will work with that table frame just like the U-II. jimerickson
Teresa: I can't believe there isn't someone in your area that sell steel. I live in rural Texas, and have a steel monger in a near by small town. Apparently you're looking for a 2 inch steel angle, probably 11 gauge, or 1/8 inch thickness, 12 foot long. There must be people selling metal buildings where you are. Talk to them. Most sell bulk steel as well as building parts. If not they will be able to direct you to a local supplier. The steel will be a lot easier to fine than the aluminum angle. Jim
buslady003
NustyleQuilting.com has the rails listed. Their site is down. They are located in Stover MO, and you can probably find them listed in the phone book. You can call them and talk to the mechanic. They are really nice people. I bought my first longarm from them. They no longer make them but they carry all the supplies that a quilter would need. I think the rails are the same that are on my Ult II machine. They do ship. Hope this will help.
