M & M wheels

Recommended Posts

I got M & M wheels a couple years ago or so. What color are the wheels that had the bad bearings? I am getting a funny thumpy thing lately that I can't really explain. Then I found out that some of the wheels had bad bearings. Does APQS just replace these wheels if I call them? I bought them from the local dealer who is no longer a rep, I guess. Haven't seen her or heard from her in a year or so.

Yep - keep an eye on it Lynn.  As Linda said it took time to reach full effect.  I think the problem with the defective wheels is, there is no lubrication in the bearings that make the wheels move so well.  Once they've had lots of use, they begin to bind up a bit, and it becomes harder and harder to move the machine.

We put the replacement wheels on last night only to discover one of the new wheels was defective, I am hopeful a replacement will be sent soon. We put one of the old ones back on so I can still quilt and wow what a difference, I almost need to practice again my machine floats again as it should. The change was so gradual I guess I had gotten used to muscling through my jobs!
