AHuffman
Here's a new video I did showing off the polishing kit for George that helps your quilt sandwich move under his needle like melted butter! You can find the kit here. I use this on both my George and my sit down domestic I have for piecing.

klwheeler
What about liquid silicone as I just bought lots of that for the threads?
Cagey
Karen Can you please provide the name of the silicone? I watched the Superior Thread Doctor discussing it in one of his educational videos, but I do not remember him providing a brand name. Thank you. AHuffman
Are you looking for "Sewer's Aid"? That is what I use when I've got super finicky threads that need a little TLC or even when using a cotton thread that might be a little dried out. Keeping a bottle of this on hand is one of those "in case of emergency break glass" kind of items. You may not need it but when you do, you'll be happy you bought a bottle and put it in that drawer!
