Enchanted Quilting
I was SO excited to quilt this now. I live in Northern MN and flowers are a long way off. Jackie got the Hawaiian prints from a friend and combined them with batiks and quilting fabric to make this quilt. She has always pieced and quilted everything by hand and has two Baltimore albums totally done by hand. She said this is her out of her element quilt and wanted my to do whatever I wanted. In the January AQ magazine, Lori Kennedy had an article which included these squarish flowers...just perfect for Jackie's quilt. The hardest part was picking out a thread color. I had tried to come up with one, but anything that looked OK on the white, looked too pale on the colors. I ended up using Glide White and Rainbows Citrus Cooler. Enchanted Quilting
Nice work!!! What camera to you use. Your pics are great. I have a point and shoot Sony...maybe about 5 years old, so nothing special. I do have a window behind the bed, so I open the shades and create a shadow. I never use a flash or an overhead room light.
