pumpkinpatchquilter
I just finished this one for my friend and client Cindy. She plans to put this on one of her tables for decoration...another that I like the back as much as the front! 10407825_930842276929026_300223743080824459_n (1) by Valerie/Pumpkin Patch Quilter, on Flickr 10968375_930853416927912_7398228910884175000_n by Valerie/Pumpkin Patch Quilter, on Flickr 10959762_930853446927909_1130148660182095148_n by Valerie/Pumpkin Patch Quilter, on Flickr 10947202_930848330261754_5711509003291586808_n by Valerie/Pumpkin Patch Quilter, on Flickr
carolinequilts
It is beautiful! How did you do the crosshatch? With rulers?
pumpkinpatchquilter
Thank you Caroline! Yes I used rulers for the curved cross hatch - for this one in particular I used Renae Haddadin's 12/13" arc ruler.
carolinequilts
Thank you for the information. I'm working on one now that I want to do some curved crosshatching. Your quilting is such an inspiration to us all.

gardenslug
Valerie, The front is very pretty - but the back is a fabulous wholecloth. So glad you share. Love seeing the beautiful quilting. Marilyn
pumpkinpatchquilter
Thank you all! I just have to share - I have had SO many comments on a block that looks like I missed a spot. I immediately ran and checked the quilt as soon as I saw it - there are three diamonds quilted in black thread and the fourth is in taupe thread - for some reason the taupe stitching doesn't show AT ALL in the photo - so it appears totally unquilted - but it is!!! LOL Just wanted to put that out there before I get an email!!! LOL

pumpkinpatchquilter
Teresa - thank you!! Yes, we got about two feet of snow! It's coming down again too! Hoping the kids have school tomorrow, just because we've been so cooped up this winter. *fingers crossed* I'm so looking forward to spring! Valerie, it's gorgeous. Are you snowed in today? chickenscratch
It's funny, because they mentioned an inch or two in our forecast for Wednesday night. As a teacher I am hoping we get that snow because school will be closed. Our bus drivers just don' t have the experience to drive on snow or ice. If we are out I can finish my Easter runner swap and my DWR arcs.
pumpkinpatchquilter
I live in the snow belt...we always giggle when we see places like California get an inch of snow and slide and slip all over the place! LOL We have two foot of snow right now...and usually get one or two good storms in February so I'm sure we will see more. LOL
