Quilting Grammy
I am getting ready to quilt one of these quilts I know what I want to do in all the sashing and in the blocks but have no clue what to do with the outer boarders. It has appliqué in the boarder and I just don't know how to do it unless I strait line it. Sorry I don't have a way to add a picture.
chickenscratch
I just looked at a picture of this quilt. Did your maker use the plaid fabric for the outer border? If so, I would just do narrow piano keys, following the straight lines of the plaid. Start and stop when you get to the appliques.
Quilting Grammy
Teresa It is my quilt and no plaid but that is what I have decided to do thank you. I will post a picture when I finish it. I am going to try to do two battings so the quilting shows never done that before so hopefully I can figure it out.
