This course was designed to be comprehensive class for newbies, beginners and advanced beginners. We will cover a HUGE range of topics and the lessons are applicable to all brands of machines and all sizes of stand up machines. Many of the lessons also apply to sit down quilters too. Look over the outline to get an idea of all that is built into this class. I know you will get a lot out of it. Imagine being able to learn at your own pace without having to travel to a big show and incur hotel/airfare/food costs to get a solid longarm education. The class is yours to watch at your leisure. You can download the lessons and videos to watch them whenever you like! There is also a student forum that is active for two months while you take the class so you can interact with your fellow students. Plus, you'll love the extensive downloadables. Cagey
Angela: Are there any instruction in your video lesson for us sit-down quilters? I know that most techniques and designs can be used by all of us, I would love to see some dedicated sit-down quilting sessions. Something for you to possibly consider developing for us fabric movers. Cagey

There are certainly some things that won't, however. Things like multiple ways to load a quilt on a frame and how to work with pantographs, for example. Don't forget that most of the videos for APQS showing free motion designs are applicable to little George too!
GMALKB
I think this is great - especially for those who don't have easy access to classes. I wish something like this had been available when I first started. I learned a lot of DVDs from various pros.
Cagey
Angela: I figured most if not all of your instructions would work on George, I just wanted to ask the question. I am sure there are a number of tricks/tips that work primarily on George, and I would love to know them all. While I might not be able to pick you out of the crowd if I saw you. I would immediately recognize your voice from watching all your videos on YouTube. I have gone so far to download all of them to my computer for immediate access when I want to review them. This longer video just may have to be added to my collection. Cagey

Cagey
Angela: Just to clarify. With the class, I can download the video files and courseware to my computer and access it where ever and whenever I desire. I can also access the classes on CraftOnlineUnivesity in the future if my computer should die, and I lose the files? Lastly, during the two month course window, I can ask you an inordinate amount of questions, which you will take the time to answer, and impart all of you wisdom upon me? Cagey Cagey, You are correct- you can download the video files and the extensive booklets/handouts to your computer so you can access it where ever you want. The videos will all be up on the CraftU site for student for the duration of the two month class. You'll want to follow the instructions on how to back up those video files to a backup drive in the cloud or burn DVDs on your computer to store the files in case your computer should die as the video files will be taken down after the two month class is over. And, yes, I'll have virtual office hours so you can pick my brain with questions as much as you like.
