KBarb
Hello, I am a novice with a Lucey. I have noticed a discrepancy between the actual stitch length and what the dial is set at. With the dial set at 15, I am only getting 9.5 or 10 stitches per inch. The stitches are consistent, Is there an uncomplicated fix for this? Thanks for any help, Barb
ffq-lar
You can call Amy to ask. That's a big discrepancy. Mark a two inch square on a scrap sandwich and stitch it out. Count your stitches and see if they are consistently inconsistent. If you have more or fewer going in one direction, make a note for when you call. Also, stitch a circle and see if the stitches are the same. Sometimes an encoder wheel needs to be snugged. I believe there are adjustments to a board that will remedy this. You might need to be talked through it or may need to replace a board.
