sondrajh
Has anyone purchased an EdgeRider carriage for the APQS Lenni? Does it improve control?
Neher-in-law5
Check with Lucy at o2bquilting. She has a different carriage for her Lenni in the studio. She said it moves very closely to the smoothness of Bliss. I can't remember the name of it, though.
chickenscratch
The edgerider carriage is expensive, but I have heard that it improves mobility of the machine. I haven't bought one because my table is all cattywampus. I am saving money for a whole new table and carriage, rather than buying things a piece at a time. I do know the Lenni on the vertical wheels just doesn't move smoothly, even with newer wheels.
RitaR
I did buy the alternate carriage with the vertical edgerider wheels and it feels a lot better on handling and maneuverability. When I compared the bliss to my edgeriders, mine is just a bit better. Didn't cost as much either. I think it was $500.00 They no longer make these carriages, I think it's probably because they are so busy selling another product. The Sewing Solution.
