JaniceC
I don't often post pictures, as I am much too intimidated by all the beautiful work I see here. But, here goes: This is a quilt I just finished as a wedding gift for a young couple in England. The bride-to-be likes motivational verses etc., and I found the focus fabric with romantic words and verses (I think the fabric is called romantic paisley). I quilted it with a panto called Sweet Hearts, on my new Lucey. Thanks for looking, Janice

JaniceC
Thank you all for the nice comments. Betsy, the quilt pattern is called Chain Link, and is from a book called Link to the 30s, by Kay Connors and Karen Earlywine. It requires partial seams, which I didn't like at first, but once I got the hang of it, it wasn't too bad. Janice
dbams
Thanks, Janice! I thought it looked like it must have partial seams, but the result is definitely worth the effort. Just ordered the book from Amazon. The sample of your quilt in the book is nice, but I prefer your version. Plus, I found another quilt (in the preview pictures) I'd love to make, too!
