Help! I received my machine but no manual.

Have you tried your Manual CD in a different computer? And there should have been printed Installation instructions in the head box, the white one. The Maintenance DVD should play either on a computer or in a regular DVD player.

With today's technology and going "green", most manuals are downloaded or provided through some technical format such as CDs so you can print only what you desire (it is also a way to defer the cost to clients).  I prefer paper manuals so I printed the entire manual and with a spiral binding by FedEx (formerly known as Kinkos).

Luvs2Quilt - I agree with having a paper manual. I sent mine to Staples to be printed and bound. I have flipped thru it several times in the past week, lol.

I bought a used certified used Millie from APQS and it came with a manual (though much of it was for a newer Millie and the controls are totally different).  I see someone is sending you a manual which is so kind - if not I would have asked APQS for one.  I don't mind dvd instructions though for me personally, and I'm of the generation that is "supposed" to be in the technological know LOL - I find them difficult to navigate...and I run a business so I wanted NO downtime when I bought my upgrade so I needed to get my new machine up an running and FAST.  It's a serious pain to stop in the middle of a client quilt to go watch a dvd for guidance...

You know what would be a GREAT idea for APQS (in my humble opinion) is a quick start guide to go along with the dvd.  I also love that they have a lot of instructions on YouTube as I can just hop on my phone while working.  But many of my sewing machines have come with a one or two page leaflet that is often on heavier card stock with the "need to know" functions.  Something you could keep out in your sewing room for reference instead of having to constantly flip through that giant manual or put in a dvd.  I know it would make ME happy!!!   :)
