New Feathers and Applique Quilt in Progress

Recommended Posts

I apologize for friends on the forum who also follow me on Facebook - I'm just sharing the quilting I'm working on now and I'm really happy with the progress.  I can't express how much of an advantage that stitch regulation has given me...having the ability to slow down has really allowed me to add more creative detail to my work.  I'm loving my "new to me" Millie.   :)

Here's the one I'm working on...

I don't get to do these kind of feathers often so I was really thrilled the client liked them when I suggested them for this border.  Have to clean house today though I'd rather just quilt all day!  Hopefully this evening I'll get to squeeze in some more time.   ;)

Valerie, the sneak peek that you are giving us is looking beautiful as always!  Glad to hear you are loving your Millie.   :)  Can't wait to see more!

Do you know what the pattern is for this quilt?  It looks like it might be a Smith Street design.  I recently quilted Feels Like Spring for our local quilt shop but have not had a chance to post pictures yet.  One of these days......   :P
