qltnbe
After getting help with ideas on how to quilt my saw tooth quilt, I thought I would share a couple pix. I used a golden color So-Fine in the cream areas, navy King Tut in the blue areas (never again) and a golden fil-tec prewound bobbins. The top looks great, but the back is not perfect. I considered ripping out, but it's mine and there was just too much ripping out to do. It is passable for myself. It's a wall hanging/table topper, so unless I show someone, they aren't going to see the back. It was a learning experience for me anyways and like I said above, I probably won't use King Tut again. It's way too temperamental. Every stop and start produced a navy build up in the back and then I have a few loops of navy coming through to the back. Like I said, this was a learning experience for me. If I try King Tut again, it will be on a practice piece when I have tons of hours to spend perfecting it. Anyways, on to the pictures. my strips were much narrower than the one that was shown to me here on the board and I ended up with a little blade at the outer edge of my saw tooth, so I have an unusual blade stitched in. I am really happy with the way it turned out (on top). Love the quilting design.

Little House Creations
Lovely - I see turning blades in the light parts - I did one a couple of years ago that I put swirls in the "saw blades" but I like this one better. Nice job.
