SOLD!!! REDUCED! 2005 Millennium 12' for sale in DelMarVa

Recommended Posts

REDUCED!  $9000 OBO.  Original owner of carefully maintained 2005 Millennium 12' Quilting System with on-demand automatic stitch regulator, ergonomic adjustable handles, built-in laser, power fabric advance with foot pedal control, electronic channel locks for horizontal and vertical straight-line stitching, built-in bobbin winder.  Also included, brand new, never used Quick Zip System, and Hartley Base Expander.  Used only to quilt my own work, not as a business, so limited hours on the machine.  I will leave it assembled in my studio to demonstrate, test-drive, then will disassemble. You will need to load, transport, and reassemble it yourself.  Some photos are available on the studio page of my website, www.karenfrickequilts.com, but I am happy to send more.

There are maybe 400 hours on the machine--I know, practically nothing, but I have used it only to do my own projects, not to quilt for other people.  I have never sent it in to be serviced.  Any tweaks I have done myself on the phone with the APQS folks.  I took a Millennium Maintenance Class in 2008 at MQS in Kansas City, and made a few adjustments after that.  No repair work done on it ever.  That being said, the thread cutter is not working properly, and it should probably be sent in for a full tune up.  When I spoke to Bill last week, he gave me the ballpark figure I am asking for.  I will be happy to deduct the cost of sending the head in for a tune-up and any needed repairs from the total.  The machine is really pristine, but it eats up a huge amount of space in my studio, and my local quilt shop now has two long-arms that they rent on an hourly basis.  It seems worthwhile to rent their machines to quilt my large pieces rather than keep my own long arm machine in my studio, which I may only use on four or five pieces a year.  Please let me know if you need additional information.

The "spa treatment" offered in the Iowa office costs $1500, which includes return transportation.  You can read a little more about it on the website under http://www.apqs.com/when-call-support  The cost for shipping it to them from the east coast is around $100.  I have the upgraded packing material to send it safely.  I have made an appointment for APQS to do the spa package service the week of August 17, which is the soonest they are booking appointments.  They need to receive it no later than August 14.  It will be approximately a one week turnaround, plus shipping time to get it back to you.  The reduced price is $9400.
