GMALKB Posted July 6, 2015 Report Share Posted July 6, 2015 I did something the other day that I hadn't done in ages..........put the needle in backwards. Thought sure I had the groove facing front, but must have turn it when inserting into the hole. Pushed "needle down" to bring up the bobbin thread and nothing happened.........just sat there and hummed. I quick turned off the machine and about the same time the thought of the needle being backwards hit me. sure enough! Turned the needle around and everything worked just fine.
