bttyboopette
This is a wedding gift for my son. Loves green. Have to search for the backing then get it on millie. Scared to death! No idea how to quilt this. I am a novice. Sorry the pics are sideways. Coming off my phone.
ffq-lar
For inspiration, search "French braid quilts" on line and find some quilting examples on Pinterest or other sites. It will jump-start your brain and you'll find something that is within (or just outside) your comfort level. You might find a neutral thread color (like taupe or seafoam green) that will work on the entire colorway of greens from light to dark. You'll do great! LibbyG
Jessica Gamez quilted an Eleanor Burns one and it was beautiful. A simple design that was continuous. Sorry I don't know how to find it for you, but she's on flickr.

RitaR
I'm using scraps of red/white/blue for a Quilt of Valor, and everything else to make a donation quilt. It goes so fast, I was surprised, I made a strip 52" long, in 47 minutes. It actually helps cut down on the odd strips of fabric in the scrap box
jeanros
Very pretty, feathers would also work!
