mnmetcalf
Morning, I'm the lady you talked to in Montana. I was wondering about shipping and how safe is that? Do u have the crates it came in? Morning! I know they can be shipped, but I've never heard one way or another on the issue of safety :\ No, I don't have the crates it came in, I had it delivered by the quilting company I bought it from, and they delivered it prepped for install in a big box truck. My guess would be if you wanted it shipped a moving company or something like that would have to be hired. I dunno for sure, but I imagine if I could find crates to pack it in to ship UPS or FedEx, it'd be as expensive as, if not more so than hiring a moving company to bring it out there, because UPS and FedEx would charge for the weight, plus for the irregular size, plus the number of boxes. I wanna say they quoted me around $500-600 to have the setup shipped to me in crates, and that was a big part of why I just had them come install it, was cause they were having a special at the time that made it way cheaper than delivery. (I could be wrong about the price, but I know it was real expensive)
