SOLD!!!! 2005 APQS Millenium for sale $6,000

Recommended Posts

My husband recently passed and I have had to drastically downsize. and have no room for the APQS Millenium which I purchased new in 2005.  In 2005 I was still working full time outside the home, the Millie was gently used by me for my own quilts up until 5 years ago when it was put into storage.  The Millie has a 24" throat space, a stitch regulator, auto advance, lower thread cutter, 12 foot table and comes with extra wheels, thread, prewound bobbin thread, extra needles (probably about 80) long arm quilting books as well as set up instructions.  The head is in its original packing box.

The machine is in storage in East Haddam CT.

This machine has worked very well for me, and I have kept it in good condition.  It is currently in storage, but worked very well when I last used it.  I am asking $6,000 for all-----and shipping and set up cost will be responsibility of buyer.

Long arm has been sold and picked up by thrilled buyer----amazing journey for me as well ---and am so glad my "baby" has gone to a good and loving home.  Looking forward to seeing what she does with my Millie!

I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss and wishing you every good thing in your new home and this new phase of your life.  I'm sorry you're letting your Millie go, but hope your days ahead are filled with other inspiring and fulfilling creative endeavors.  Peace.  Beth

Hello and I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I can relate as life has been dealing my family some heavy burdens lately.

I am interested in your longarm, but know relatively little about purchasing one. I am in Florida, and I know you cannot provide a shipping quote, but how are these machines normally shipped?  UPS? Freight? and what would be a reasonable 'guesstimate' of shipping? (eg: $500, $1000,).  can you tell me what it weighs and perhaps I can research using that data.

Thank you for your time, and God bless,

Rita

Rita:  I can't give you a firm number, but I do know that Dave Jones moves a lot of them across the country, and I think he charges between $500 -$800.  I believe he schedules the moves along with his service calls, so you might have to wait a bit on him, but I'm sure he does a great job.  Look at some of the other posts here and get his contact ID or number and get in touch with him.  Jim

The head IS in its original shipping carton (with packing) and the table/rollers of course are separate and bulky.  The rollers are very heavy-duty and thus weigh a bit---but as far as how much----I have no way to weigh them.  It was shipped by APQS to me when I bought it for I think $400 and yes, came in on ABF I think and then when we moved to CT it came in the moving van with our furniture.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your husband. Hoping you find a buyer for your machine.

Since this machine is priced about $3000 below the expected value, it's a great deal and someone should jump on it! That makes the shipping costs seem like not such a big deal.

If I had room I'd get it and add QP.... sigh...
