CindyT
About a year and a half ago my cousin asked me to make her a lap quilt of daisies made from my daisy fabric stash. She chose the pattern. It was one she saw of one of my customer's quilts. I am not a fan of DOING applique, and that's maybe why I put it off for so long. I love looking at others' applique quilts, but it's not my thing to do. SO, it is now finally in her possession and here's a picture of the finished product. I didn't get any quilting detail pictures of it because I forgot before delivering it, but it is custom quilted. I finally got my studio back in order after going through all my daisy fabrics! CindyT
Thank you, Rita, Lee Ann, and Carmen! She is a collector of Minnie Mouse and there's actually a Minnie Mouse with a daisy in a few of the petals! She's a gardener so there were watering cans with daisies, etc. It was fun to pick out the stash fabrics to use.
