KarenH
I am working on the border of a king size quilt, almost done! And the machine is stopping after going about an inch front to back!!! I am doing a piano key border, on the top of the quilt. I finished the bottom of the quilt no issues. I am going left to right, one inch piano keys, about 10 inches from the end it starts acting up. I changed the needle cleaned the bobbin case, oiled, checked for anything crazy. It almost seems that the stitches are locking some how about an inch from where I start going front to back. I have never had any problem that could not be fixed, but I am stumped. Thanks in advance for any ideas!!! Karen
Sheri Butler
Did you bump the channel lock button by mistake?
Gator
Channel locks would do it but I can't think of anything else. Is there a thick seam where it's acting up? Are you free motion or Quilt Path/other computer?
Zora
Are you using a ruler? If so, make sure it I'd not hanging up on the ruler base.
KarenH
I have a Freedom, so there are no channel locks for vertical, but I did check the manual knob for horizontal. I am using a ruler with a ruler base, but I can't see anything. Thanks for the help, I am going down to the quilt cave now, lets see how it goes!!! BethDurand
No helpful hints here, but hopeful that since it appears about an hour has passed since you were heading to the quilt cave that things are working well and you're now parked down there.
