gsleader
While quilting, my Ultimate I (non-speed regulated) machine, speeds up on its own to a rediculously fast speed. Can anyone tell me what is causing this and what I can do to correct it from doing this? Thanks.
Cagey
With the head off the side, and without any thread I would suggest rotating the rheostat speed controller to see if by moving it from its normal position the situation is fixed. If that does not do the trick, I would try cleaning/replacing the brushes; http://www.apqs.com/instructional-videos/?watch=q1zoiLjJ3K4 If those two things do not fix your problem, call APQS they will have you up and running properly in no time.
