JillRN1995
Please show and tell everyone your favorite tools and accessories for George. Thanks! Here are a few of mine: This Hobby Holster is made of silicone, and it clings to any flat surface. It hangs down from the table top, so it doesn't take up any counter space. I put my scissors, stylus, marking pen, and tweezers in there for easy access. http://www.amazon.com/Holster-Brands-Hobby-Pink/dp/B00N9LUSKO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464266918&sr=8-1&keywords=hobby+holster The small Kemper stylus tool is great for pulling up the bobbin thread and for removing stitches. The tiny ball tip slips right under the stitch without damaging the fabric. http://www.amazon.com/Kemper-Ball-Stylus-Tools-double/dp/B000YQIL3S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464267043&sr=8-1&keywords=kemper+double+ball+stylus I wind my own bobbins, and then I stack them on this check spindle holder http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013S2CC1G/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_3?pf_rd_p=1944687722&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00AUB2UM0&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1J8R0992BKGMTNAK4SB9 I use tweezers to help me thread the needle. http://www.amazon.com/item4ever-TWE6-Sewing-Machine-Tweezers/dp/B0012DNMXG/ref=sr_1_2?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1464268098&sr=1-2&keywords=serger+tweezers This light kit was easy to install, and it does a great job. http://www.amazon.com/Sewing-Machine-LED-Lighting-Kit/dp/B00KGKB02Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1464269580&sr=1-1&keywords=sewing+machine+lights I just started using rulers, and the Line Tamer is my favorite one so far. http://www.fourpawsquilting.com/pages/template.html I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone posts. Neher-in-law5
When I had my George, the Martelli quilting rings were the best for me. I could use them to move the quilt without a lot of strain, and I did some large quilts (queen and king). Those rings were much better than the halo for me. I hooked them on the arm of George to the back of the throat with an empty thread spool taped to his top so they didn't slide down when I wasn't using them.
