CBing
I am looking at longarms and seeing 1800, 2200, and 3000 SPM. If using edge to edge pantographs, what is the average speed that is used. Thanks, C.
RunningThreads
I'm not sure of the best answer for this but I know I run my Intelliquilter at about 2.1 inches per second which is about 1300 stitches per minute. Brenda when doing pantographs by hand is much faster than that maybe not double the speed but close. So 1800 wouldn't work for us. Nigel
Mary Beth
I think the speed is up to you, and the panto. Some have a lot of detail, and you would want to slow down. Some people do not use a stitch regulator when doing a panto. The speed on the APQS machines are adjustable. Have you talked to a dealer or APQS and asked them questions? Call someone and just ask a few questions, they will not pressure you to buy.
