Hi since the Red Deer Quilt show , I showed two of my collage quilts I made the giraffe and the cow. These created quite a stir in our area. I have been booked to do 10 classes all over our province I have done three already I just finished the newest pattern by Laura Heine it is a pincushion. How many still have a tomato pin cushion.   I know I do. Have a Great Day

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail, but a best friend will be sitting next to you saying, 'Dang, that was fun'!

Thank-you Bev, I hope we can also. I think it is only getting the place to host it that will hold us up. I have it pencilled in

Congratulations on your teaching career!  Your work is aweswome and I'm glad to see that it's appreciated.  Yes, I had a tomato pin cushion, but I'd rather have your version.

I want one too!  I have Laura's deer collage pattern and it looks like so much fun, but I think I like the tomato pin cushion even better.

How did you do the background fill?  Love it.

I just stitched a grid and filled it with continuous curves.
