Starla
When your take up bar has a huge quilt of 90 inches wound up on it.....How many inches of quilting space do you have left to quilt on? I2, 12.5, 13 inches? Thanks for your help Starla
jgardog
FYI. I am finishing development of brackets that will gain you two more inches of throat space without needing a Millie 30! More news soon.
zeke
Sweet. And I thought I was the only one working on that. Zeke.
RunningThreads
Starla I just finished a quilt that is 112 inches long with Hobbs 80/20 batting. I lost about an inch so at the end I still had at least sixteen inches of throat space. We have another large one with Hobbs wool on the other machine but it will be a few days before it is far enough along to measure. I doubt it would be more than another inch. Starla
Wow...I need to measure mine when I get closer to the end. I used hobbs 80/20 also. I have a 2008 Millie. Thank you very much Starla
jgardog
Actually I'm done with my brackets and have been using them for a couple of months. Just need to patent. I can do a 12 inch on point with plenty of from to spare. The biggest panto so far was about 19 inch plus.
