Single Father of two wonderful adult children; no grandchildren yet, but patiently waiting. I am a disabled veteran, who also suffers from R.A and Lupus. I enjoy the simple things in life and I cherish the time spend with family and friends. I look forward to my annual skydive with my mother each year. I am a animal lover and often spend time outdoors with my camera in hand photographing the wildlife. My other interest (hobbies) besides quilting is photography, drawing, wood working, and remodeling projects. Despite that fact quilting gets harder each year, I love to quilt, it's my peace my serenity and love the whole creative process. In time I would love to be able to get another APQS Longarm. In the mean time I recently acquired a Discovery sit down quilting machine.

  1. Rita, I will keep you and your's in my thoughts and prays.
  2. WOW Terry!!! Your quilting really brings that quilt alive!!! If you ever run out of room for that quilt I have a place for it.
  3. Beth welcome to the APQS Family and the Forum. Congratulations on the purchase of your Lenni!!!
  4. You could always check out a used Millie. I purchased a used Millie that was 4 years old at the time I purchased it. I absolutely love my Millie!! I have never had any problems with my machine at all. In fact I have owned 3 APQS Machines, all purchased used and never had any issues with them. My first was a non-stitch regulated Ultimate 2 (same throat size as the Lenni), I upgraded to a Ultimate 1 (same throat size of the Millie) with an add on stitch regulator and finally up graded to a Millie. After having my Millie it would be really hard to down grade to anything else.
  5. You did a beautiful job on that quilt! Love it! Your quilting really makes that quilt pop! The neutral colors are my favorites.
  6. Congrats on your new location! How exciting! BTW I am jealous of your Ironing Station (board)!
  7. How about Scorch N' Tear Quilting? That should drum up some business!
  8. Congratulations Kay, Sure is a Beauty!!!! TOOT AWAY!!!
  9. That is really cute......Makes me think of Spring. I like how you quilted it!
