    Invisafil Thread

Hi Everyone, A few months ago I read your comments about Invisafil Thread and because you all seemed to like it so much, I contacted the company, Wonderfil. They sent me a nice box of samples and I love their thread! My question is, what colors do you like to use. I have a quilt shop and I want to retail the large cones in the best colors as well as use it myself.

    Shipping yet again...

I recently purchased a used Millie and had it shipped to Canada from Ohio. The rails were packed in cardboard tubes. Maybe check with the moving companies to see what you can find.
  6. I am really enjoying this forum. I think I am already addicted. Thanks for answering my question about the batting last week. I was really afraid when I saw the first picture with those borders. I can't see any pleats in the finished ones and the quilting is beautiful. Obviously, you are very experienced. My question is would it not be good form to tell the customer to take the quilt home and fix the borders. Maybe, you can fix this problem quicker than she could fix them but it looks like an awful job.
  7. Newbie question: Why use the cotton and wool batting. I assume it is so that you can get such a beautiful effect but I have never heard of this.
  8. I love the feathers. They seem so appropriate and perfectly executed. I am a newbie trying to learn from you all. You mentioned wool batting. What is the significance?
  9. I am purchasing a used machine and having it shipped across the country where I will bring it into Canada. The seller would like to have payment in full in a cashiers cheque prior to shipping. I am uncomfortable with this. Does anyone have a better solution or is this the way it is always done?

    APQS Ultimate 1

I am looking for a quilting machine and I might be interested. Can you tell me more? Year, stitch regulator, needle up/down, table, etc.
