There is a pretty active APQS Facebook page and Sheri may be a member.  I don't use Facebook so can't say for sure if she posts on there.  She used to be very active on this forum but it has been a while since she has posted.  Have you searched on here for her?
    Good luck with your search.
I found this e-mail address for Sheri.  It may be the one that you already have!

Looks like this is a question about a robotic system.  Probably would be more effective if posted on the specific forum covering that system.  Good luck.  Jim

Just spoke to APQS Service personal. It is a 2013 with 14ft Bliss Table.
Putting this in so folks know it's been solved and if anyone has a similar series and is asking the same question.

    Thanks for reading and replying!

I release the tension also. Plus I move the machine so it’s off of the quilt. I don’t want oil to mysteriously drip on my quilt. Lastly, I turn off the power strip to my machine.

    Hi Katrina,

    Welcome to the forum.
I release the tension on a quilt when I finish quilting each time.  I also release the side clamps too.
Seasons greetings to you too and happy quilting.

dbams reacted to JillRN1995 in Is there an app that lets you upload pictures of quilt blocks and then rearrange them on a grid?
I searched online and found photovisi.com.  This company allows you to create large photo collages for free.  They have many design options to choose from.  I chose "The Big Square Grid" layout.
I saved screenshots of quilt blocks from EQ7 onto my desktop so that I would have something to play with.  I uploaded the files to Photovisi.  I was able to click and drag the images but I couldn't rotate them.  (There is a circle with arrows above the selected image.  I clicked on the circle, but it didn't let me rotate the image.)
I haven't tried using this on my tablet yet.
I attached a screenshot for your consideration.

    Hi Kitten

As Sue said.  Yes you should be cautious.  The first thing you should do is click on the users name and see how long they have been a member and read some of their posts.  If you click on SueD above you will see she has been around for a couple of years and her posts are always on point and helpful.  If she decided to sell her machine her ad would be legitimate.  Someone who joined yesterday and their first post is a machine for sale I’d definitely want to see in person.  Most machines don’t sell immediately so there is no rush to send anyone money.

Users can message other users through the forum. The email would come from the forum and can also be viewed on the forum using the envelope icon by your user name.  You can see any other postings by the user in the forum by clicking on their user name.

Have they sent you photos of the machine?  Is the machine going to be shipped or can you see it in person?  It could be legitimate - just be cautious.

One other thought, if you have the name and the machine serial number, APQS might be able to confirm that info for you.

I haven't seen a software product to do this specifically, but I would do it the old-fashioned way - print out a photo of my squares, cut them up and move them around, kinda like a puzzle. Once they're in an arrangement that's appealing to me, take another photo, print it and start rearranging my blocks!

Deb:  This is the right site, but most of the QP users hang out on the Face Book site.  As for the long and short stitches, check your encoders to make sure everything there is working properly.  Jim

dbams reacted to Gail O in Need new leaders for my Ultimate 1 14-ft frame.
Double sided carpet tape works.  For added security cover the edge with duct tape after you get the leaders straightly secured with the double sided tape.  Just make sure you remove the old adhesive, and use the weld line as your straight line across the rails.  Removing the old adhesive takes some effort.

My Freedom (now called Freddie) only has a manual vertical lock.  When I want a horizontal lock, I use a clamp on the rails.  Easy peasy.

    Update:
I tightened the tension just a bit, about a quarter turn, and it seems to be winding MUCH better now! I'm still watching it as it winds, ready to rest my finger lightly on the incoming thread to guide it as it winds if needed, but so far, so good!

    Peach,
I might suggest that you  choose a thread brand/type and then quilt using only that thread type for a few sessions to get used to it.  It will help with your tension issues. When you switch bobbins and thread brands/types you probably will have to make small tension adjustments.  When you are first starting out, you want to keep as many things the same as possible so quilting is enjoyable verses being a challenge.
Get a donation quilt or two from your local quilt group and quilt your heart out on it.  Then when you return it, you will never see any of its mistakes again.  The person that receives it will cherish it, and you will have gotten great practice quilting from it.
Have a great time using your new George.  You will love it.  Happy Thanksgiving.

    BonnieJ;
Why don't you take a picture of your bobbin winder, so we might be able to assist you better?  A picture is worth a thousand words.
You can also try taking your bobbin winder to a sewing machine repair store.  More than likely it is driven by a small sewing machine motor that can be repaired, oiled, brushes cleaned, etc. to get it running in better form.
If you have not oiled the wheel axel that that rubs agains the motor spindle put a few drops on it.  Look for some small threads wrapped around the axel binding things up.  Is the eyelet that feeds the thread to the bobbin aligned with the bobbin.  If it is off to one side, it might be putting more thread on one side of the bobbin than the other.  Bobbin winders need tender loving care too.
Best of luck fixing your issue.

When your carriage/machine moves, the larger wheels make the smaller/rubbery encoder wheels turn.  The encoder wheels tell the machine head (through the cables) how fast the machine is moving which tells the machine how fast to move the needle up and down.
Look in your manual and check that all your encoder cables are firmly connected in the right slots.  If those aren't connected, then the machine wouldn't get the "message" that it's moving and should make stitches.
Check that your encoder wheels are properly adjusted and making good contact with the head/carriage wheels.  If you have a bliss frame, there's only one encoder wheel.
Other than that, you may need to call APQS unless someone else here has any other suggestions.

When you say it won't "run at all", what does that mean?  Does it have power?  Have you checked the fuse(s)?
Have you checked all the cable connections?  If you happened to unplug them, make sure you have them all reconnected correctly.  It's possible to get them switched around.
What is your stitch length set at?  If you've turned it as low as it will go, the machine won't sew.  Increase it a bit.
Does it work without the stitch regulator on?
Regarding the vibration/bounce in manual mode, did that happen at multiple speeds or just one particular speed?  The motors can have a harmonic vibration at a certain speed and may not vibrate as much if you change the motor speed.
We can help you troubleshoot this, but need more information as to what it is or isn't doing as well as what changes, if any, you made to the machine other than turning the SR on.
