  1. Congrats Valerie. I had the same thoughts as you until I opened the box and found the printed manual. Having the downloaded manual on my laptop will be handy too. I just set up my new Lucey 2 weeks ago, Quilt Path was shipped on Friday. Happy Stitching. Leslie
  2. Thank you Ladies. I ordered Quilt Path yesterday. My dealer (Bill) said he would send a note to the Quilt Path FB administrator. Leslie
  3. I recently sold my 2012 Lucey and purchased a new 2023 Lucey in June. I will be purchasing Quilt Path this week at the Roadshow in Kamloops, BC. I understand that there is a Quilt Path user group that I would like to join. What is the process to request an invitation to become a member? Leslie
  4. Helen Good advice, glad you got it fixed. Leslie
  5. Mommat 18 I have experienced this issue as well. I concur with sricharson's assessment, it is the backing fabric fibers that are rolling to the right side of your backing. Moda and Maywood backings are especially troublesome. I would suggest that when buying wide backing choose yarn dyed fabric. Westrade backing is my go-to backing. It is sometimes sold by Fabric.com. A google search will likely will show other online buying options. Westrade also has amazing wide flannels in addition to their 108" cottons. They are a wholesale distributor and offer wholesale prices to longarm machine quilting businesses that have a tax number. Leslie
  6. Toni I sent you a personal message. Leslie
  7. What size do you need? I have new zippers for a 12 ft. table. I'm is BC. Leslie
  8. I made a king size commission quilt where I double batted it using one Hobbs cotton/wool blend batting and one Quilters Dream 100% Wool batting on top. The backing was extra wide flannel. The customer specifically wanted a heavy quilt. She was pleased, it turned out well, nice loft and good stitch definition. Leslie
  9. DJ Have you tried using a new bobbin case? Over time, from use or if you have dropped it, the bobbin case can warp. Leslie
  10. Beatice Marie I too love math! Of course I use a calculator. Ha Ha. Leslie
  11. Diana FYI The original post is more than 2 years old and the sender hasn't been on this site since April 2014. If you hover over the user name (blue) and it will indicate when they were last on this site. Unfortunately no contact information was included in the posting.
  12. I tested wool batting by washing and drying a small table topper in very hot water and hot dryer setting. I had no issues with bearding and only minor shrinkage. I use it as a sample to show customers the result after a harsh laundry treatment. Leslie
